Hi everyone,

At the end, I want to practice in California and I am also planning on specializing. The cost of tuition and location are also important to me. So if you were me where would you go and why?

I'd go to Michigan. Ann Arbor is not as fun as NYC or Ft. Lauderdale but you'll be saving more money and getting a degree from a reputable school.

Ann Arbor is plenty of fun. Depends what you like. I hate big cities like NY and I've never been to Florida.

Yeah I would maybe choose Michigan too but I would give serious consideration to Nova as well. I really liked Nova when I was there. Haha I like how svart aske says you'll get a degree from a reputable school, are we supposed to assume Nova and NYU arent? I know you didnt mean anything by it! Just funny to read it like that...

personally... i chose NOVA myself. I think it is a great school (with exception to complaints about chairs which my D2 friend has told me is not that big of an issue) where clinical experience will be great. Location is amazing and so is the weather. Staff is usually very friendly and students are just the same. I may still receive acceptance to UCSF in second round, but would seriously consider attending NOVA. NOVA is a dental school and you will graduate a dentist regardless of the school you attend. I would choose it over almost any other school if not all schools simply because it would put me in an environment where i would perform maximally and have a smile doing it.
