Hi 🙂 So I have a bit of a dilemma. I was going to take a gen micro bio class this term as an open university student but the school's policy changed so I might not be able to take it. I was advised to take the course because some schools require it. If I'm unable to take it, I'm not sure what to do or what importance this class holds. I need to do some ECs so I feel that my schedule will be more open if I don't get in anyways. Do any of you guys know what schools require it, or where I can find this information (I know there is a handbook but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me)? Any advice helps!! 🙂

I am pretty sure it is required for a majority of schools.
If this is your last semester, you may have to do whatever you can to pick it up.
But, as for the requirements for difference dental schools I know you can go to each of their websites and it states the requirements.

You can check each school's website to see the requirements, microbio isn't required for most. You can also buy/borrow the ADEA official guide which lists them.

The easiest way to find out is the ADEA book but if you don't have it check out the schools websites that you are interested in. In my case I think around 5 schools wanted microbiology. In terms of upper division sciences the majority of my schools wanted to see me take biochemistry. Best of luck!
