Micro Cruz Reader + Rook online = silly cool!

Purchased the Micro Cruz Reader for around $200. Much much less than an iPad. The three browsers, Dolphin, Skyfire, and the OOB one, thus far all load up the Rook pages beautifully. Expert Consult on the other hand isn't working yet. The problem is with the imbedded scroll bars. Hoping to get Fennec working, Fire Fox for Android. Anyone else tried this?

Opera Mini in mobile mode get's me all the text for Weedon on Expert Consult (removes the internal scroll bars). However, the way the pages are formatted makes it cumbersome. Once I get something feasible working, like what I have shown above for Rook, I will do my best to let y'all know.

I love my iPad, load all the journals on there (GoodReader is a good program, I keep each month organized), great for showing figures and tables during journal club/showing attendings (better than the mini screen on the camera, +cool factor), I have all of Fitzpatrick. Expertconsult is perfection on iPad.

Jailbroken iPhone = instant 3g

There is something wrong with the Steifel notes PDF. The formatting is all messed up on the iPad and iPhone no matter what program I open it up on. All other PDF's work great. My only gripe.

How are you getting the embedded scroll bars to work in expert consult? I went to Best Buy to play with an iPad and was having the exact same problem on both my Android device and the iPad. What browser are you using?

My bad, it doesn't scroll. I've been clicking the next link on the left handed contents menu to "scroll" to the next topic.

No worries. Thing is, I am wondering if you use firefox (if there's one for iPad) if this might not work there?

Opera Mini in mobile mode formats the pages so you get all the text. It's just kind of cumbersome with regards to clicking to the next page when in this mode, at least on my Android device.

Fitz's on iPad has got to be hot! I don't have Fitz online. But I gather it is working totally, right?

Current functional winner = iPad. I went and tried the two finger tap to scroll the embedded scroll bar areas in expert consult for Weedon. It worked! Looks like we have a winner!

If I find out how to do the same on the Cruz I will try to remember to share. However, as is, the iPad should theoretically work for Bolognia. Go to a Best Buy and login and try it out before purchasing.

Current price winner still = Cruz. Thing is, functionality is more important here. 🙁
