- coze lymphocytosis is associated with some viral infections.
-and toxoplasmosis is the parasitic disease so eosinophilia is associated with parasitic infection.

answer is EBV

The question is asking about atypical morphlogy of lymphctes.
this is only seen in Mononucleosis..where there is a monoclonal prolifiration of B-cells.

atypical lyphocytes are seen,20 % or greater in EBV,CMV,HHV6(roseola)
5%to 10% in mumps,measels,rubella,viral hepatitis
less than 5% in malaria,toxoplasmosis,babesiosis
so,i think the answer should be toxoplasmosis.

firstly,
Pls mention the source of your information.... i am reading this question from pretestquestions whivh has mentionend that except measeles all other conditions listed above cause atypical antibodies.CERTAINLY TOXOPLASMOSIS CAUSES MONONEUCLOSIS LIKE CONDITION(READ FROM OTHER SOURCE). SO I M PRETTY SURE THE ANSWER IS MEASLES(RUBEOLA) WHICH DOESNT CAUSE ATYPICAL LYMPHOTCYTES.

Yes,I agree with missiondds.
TOXOPLASMA CAUSES INFECTIOUS MONONUCLEOSIS(Given in Kaplan usmle notes-Clinical infectious disease -Change in Blood cells Chart)

Is it really important to know which RNA viruses are pos. vs. neg. stranded?

If it is important does anyone have a good way to remember it?

Thanks.
