Hey everybody,
I got some micro questions and need u're help....
1) Exotoxins are secreted from Gram positive only?
2) Hyaluronidase are virulence factors of which bacteria? Streptococci or Clostridium
3) S.agalactiae and S.pyogenes are treated with which antibiotics?
Some of these questions might be kinda stupid but i am a bit confused.,,, hope u guys can help....thanks..cuz i was doing some past exams and the answers differ from what is written at Kaplan Review book,, so I just wana double check..

Exotoxins can be secreted by Gm+ve as well as Gm-ve bacteria.

Endotoxins are secreted only by Gm-ve bacteria!!

2) streptococci
3)S.agalctiae by penicillin resistant synthetic penicillin

1) Exotoxins are proteins secreted by BOTH g- and g+...while endotoxins are only released with the DEATH of a g- bacteria
2) hyaluronidase is secreted by strep PYOGENES (clostridium has a lot of members like C. difficile, C. botulism, C. tetani, etc...I dont think any of them release hyaluronidase...nor do i think any of the other streptococci...)
3) s. agalactiae and s.pyogenes are both G+ so you would probably want to use penicillin....)
