Microbiology in PCAT?

Hi all,

I am unsure how to prepare for Microbology questions on the PCAT. I am preparing for the August PCAT and don't have much time left. If possible give me some pointers on how to prepare and how many questions I should expect from this section.

Did you take the course? There is very little micro on the PCAT. I wouldn't prioritize it.

I agree with charfdorn... I don't think you should stress micro too much.. If I can remember correctly, there were only like 4? about micro.. and very basic.. type of shape of virus, might have to know info about who found the bacteria, or .. cure.. uh.. gram positive bacteria and gram negative.. uh.. I think just BIO1 and BIO2 would be a mission.. don't stress micro too much.. 🙂 good luck

Thanks all for the advice. I have already taken the course. I was just confused on how much effort I need to devote to it.
