Hey guys,

Soon to be med student here. I have old premedical course work on microscopes and cell preparation for microscope viewing and I"m wondering if this is covered on step 1? I want to bring some of my old important notes to med so that it's easier to review. Thanks!

As you may notice, 20 people have seen your post and no one has answered. I don't blame them. Anyway. Regarding your question:

Go to NBME.org and obtain the full content of what is tested during USMLE STEP 1. USMLE STEP 1 tests knowledge of basic sciences, not microscopes. That being said, your "old important notes" may not be so important in medical school. However, these "notes" may help you appreciate better histology and pathology but it will not give you an edge over other medical students.
