Can high doses of midazolam be used to induce a coma?
I ask because I know that benzos often fail to provide really deep sedation or an anesthetized state compared to other sedative hypnotics such as propofol, and that is the reason why they only cause minor respiratory depression and why it's nearly impossible to die from an overdose of them.
