On the supplemental section from AADSAS, Midwestern AZ requires the official score from ADA. Is that the one that we have to pay $25 for?

Yes, but if you chose Midwestern AZ as one of the schools when signing up for your DAT they should receive it from the ADA. If you didn't, then I believe you have to request an official score report to be sent to Midwestern.

check again for the complete AADSAS supplemental information. They have a revised version of it (updated 7/22) and for Midwestern-AZ it does not mention anything about them requiring the official scores from ADA. This is what they say:

"Special information from this dental school:
Send these materials directly to the dental schools Only When an Admission Officer Contacts You:
Secondary application (due March 1)
Secondary application fee $50"

In short, I do not think you need ot pay $25. Most schools' supplemental info does not have "require official scores from ADA" written anymore according to the AADSAS supplemental.

I just sent in my supplemental for them and they sent me an email saying my application was complete. When I had signed up for the DAT I checked them as one of the schools to send my scores to. That's the only time I did anything with my DAT scores. AADSAS or ADA or whoever took care of the rest.

Did you add on Midwestern after you signed up for the DAT and that's why you had to pay the additional $25?

No. You never ever ever have to pay the $25 unless a school specifically asks you to tell the ADA to send them official scores. The score that AADSAS gets from the ADA through your DENTPIN is the official score. No need to do anything other then put your DENTPIN in your application.

That's right. Dental schools will receive your DAT score(as part of your app.) as long as you have entered your DENTPIN and the date you took your test on your AADSAS application.
