Good luck to all! :luck:

Where will you guys be staying? I'll be at Hyatt Place in Lombard.

Flying or driving? I'm flying in on American Airlines.

Any plans while you are in Chicago? I'm going to take advantage of my time there and look for potential apartments.

Where will I be staying: Hampton Inn in Lombard

Flying: I'll be flying out in 12 hours on American Airlines from John Wayne to O'Hare

Plans in Chicago: Check out school location, nearby apartments, go over last minute possible interview questions, and get plenty of rest (yea right...🙄)

Have a safe flight everyone and I'll see you all on Wed....or maybe even at the airport! Good luck! :luck:

it's been a stressful trip. I rushed out of lab at 430 to get to LAX on time. Here I am finally at Hampton Inn in Lombard. It's friggin almost 3 am. AHHHHHHH. See you guys tomorrow morning

It was nice meeting cdhoward and skoolboi today. 🙂 I'm finally home! I managed to catch an earlier flight at 4:45pm on standby or else I would've still be on the plane right now.

It was nice to meet you too.

I just made it home as well. I only could wish I was able to bump up on standby. All flights to DFW from ORD were ridiculous! Standby waiting lists were over 20 deep - crazy!!! Anyway, my 6:30pm flight left promptly at 7:30pm :meanie: Oh well, could have been worse, I suppose.

Overall, it was a great experience and it was nice to get my first interview jitters over with.

:luck: :luck: Here's hoping we all have great news in a few weeks!!! :luck: :luck:

I was #3 on the standby list and 20 seats were available at the time, so I was lucky. I guess no one wanted to head to California, huh? 😀 Yea, I'm so glad that I got one school down so far in this application cycle. They said they'll be sending out letters in 2 weeks right? I thought most people (at least everyone in my group) had lots to offer at the interview table, so hopefully we all receive acceptance letters! :luck:

Do any of you guys know the criteria that the adcom used to invite us for an interview? I thought I heard something today that they will review the supplemental apps or essays along with the interview assessment in order for them to make the admission decisions? So will they be considering our GPA and PCAT scores again? Or have we passed through the academics hurdle when they invited us for an interview? 😕

I remember them telling our interview group that they are going to review the "entire package." So I'm guessing they'll be looking at our gpa and essays again.....

I guess they'll be reviewing both the Oct 1st and the Oct 15th together cause they told us that we should hear a reply in 4 weeks (today is the 2 week mark).

I guess it could be a soon as 2 weeks, but no later than the 2nd week of November. They said the adcom would meet again soon and make a decision on everyone's status by the 2nd week of November.

Yea, I just got an email from them saying that they'll contact us once they have finalized their decision.

I was the guy in shorts you saw at SNA.

Haha...I ended up visiting a P2 friend who took us to Chicago to visit. Terrible idea...The rain combined with traffic hour pushed our plans quite behind schedule.

Oh hehe. I got to the airport early, so I managed to catch an earlier flight at 4:45pm instead of waiting until 7:10pm. I'm glad you made it back on time! How was Chicago besides the rain and traffic? I really wanted to see Chicago, but then too little time and it was raining really bad on that day. 🙁

The city looked cool. There's lot of stuff to see and looks like a lot of great places to eat it. It's kind of a pain to drive in the downtown area...I think it's one of those places where you have to walk around to fully enjoy everything.

So far this is the only school that interview such a large group at once.
