Midwestern CCP
Started by Tai
Hitch123......I understand.... I think most pple on this forum have more than one offer and are still deciding on where to go for their own reasons. Sorry to offend you.
I opened this thread for pple going to CCP who want to get to know one another. Thats it. Why such harsh words?

So you guys haven't completed your immunization forms? I was re-reading what midwestern sent recently and realized that we need to take the hep. shots (3 shots in total), with the second shot after 1 month of waiting and then the 3rd shot 5-6 months after your 2nd one. >.> so I called the health/wellness center last week and they said it's okay as long as you get started with your required shots (because I realized that I won't be able to complete my shots by the time school starts in Sept with time requirements between shots).
So are you guys going to go to your doctors? or are you going to utilize Midwestern's shot offers? I'm going tomorrow to Midwestern to get my necessary immunization check-up and shots, it's going to be expensive >.< I don't have insurance so I thought it would be best for me to get it at Midwestern.
Also, nice to meet you guys ^^ see you when school starts.
Is anyone dorming? I'm in Redwood 1 but I'm on the waitlist to get the room with the private bath, which I hope to get!

Yeah, good luck with that, I had to have a couple of my titers drawn at the immunization fair my first year as well and they have the osteopath students do it 🙄 My arm was bruised for 2 weeks. ickgurl2000 said:So you guys haven't completed your immunization forms? i got my hep. shots for undergrad..im guessing they should be acceptable..I just need to go back to see my doctor to get the form filled out.
I was actually thinking of living on campus, but decided to live in an apt off campus. Still gotta go hunting for one though. 🙂

Right now, I'm living in the city with the fam, but I'm looking into apartments in DG or the surrounding areas. I dont want to live more than 10-15 min away..I lived thru driving to and from undergrad 50 min back and forth, and I dont want to do it again. Even though it takes about 30 min to get to DG from where I'm at right now, I have no doubt it'll take me longer come rush hour, esp. since I'd have to take I-290 and I-88. It's too much of a hassle..about 10 hours I could spend on studying and sleeping every week. 🙂
