Midwestern IL, not fully accredited?

Hi,

I am a Canadian applicant and I can see that a bunch of us have gone to Midwestern IL judging by whats on the forums. However, it only has its initial accreditation. My question is, does that affect graduates in any way? Are you still at par with graduates from fully accredited universities? And, will I be able to return to Canada or can I only practice in the states?

Nope, doesn't matter. By attending an initially accredited program you are guaranteed to finish from a accredited program. The initial/fully statuses just refer to the programs status with CODA and how often sites visits will occur (every 2 years versus 7 years).
