Hey all!

I really loved Midwestern's campus in Arizona and got accepted to their program, but do you think it's really worth the $80,000 + for the program? That's not including cost of living. I'm pretty sure they pretty much only offer loans for financial aid too. What do you think?

U won't get a dime from MWU so U r right on that observation. My daughter is in the PA program there. It's very cheap to live in AZ so that's a plus for Glendale. Middle daughter has been accepted into the MWU AZ OT program and she's seriously considering it! Great facility, cutting edge in many areas. Price tag is EXPENSIVE. Tough choice for sure. She's waiting on a few more programs before she decides where to go.

Hey! I was also accepted but I'm declining their offer. There are a number of reasons for it. I'm not from Arizona and don't know anyone there so the change is pretty drastic for me. Their program is full time with only a week in between quarters. They also mentioned some level I fieldwork may occur during that week-long break in between so you may not even get a break to catch your breath. The program is great but it's a ridiculous number of credits! That and the cost. It's a hefty price tag and they offer no scholarships or grants which was a huge deterrent for me. It's a great school with a beautiful campus, but my learning style and the price simply doesn't align with me and my interests. Best of luck to you, wherever you decide to go!

Thanks for the responses! I'm leaning towards declining. I am not from Arizona either, but I want to go somewhere different. However, I've been accepted to two other schools so I'm lucky to have some (cheaper) options. I thought it was surprising to see that their OT program was more expensive than most of their other two-year programs.

I just sent out the email declining the offer since I only had until tomorrow to do it! The idea of going somewhere different also appealed to me. I've applied to a lot of schools in the northeast (where I'm from) that are outside of my usual radius so I think that's far enough haha. You'll definitely make the right decision! Congratulations on your other acceptances!

Just got offered an interview and unsure about whether or not to take it. I'm from the northeast. I've been accepted to their DG campus already, but will be declining due to price.

Congrats Mamabear on your acceptance, I remember us talking in another thread. I know its pricey but its my best option since it allows me to live at home with parents rent free lol. Mind speaking towards the interview process and your stats (you can PM me here). Thanks and good luck with whatever program you accept!

Hello! Is anyone here attending MWU in Fall 2018 ? 🙂

They don’t offer scholarships?
