Hello!
I have accepted Midwestern, but am on the waitlist for CSU, Virginia-Maryland, and Tufts.
All of OOS for me and the tuition and cost of living are all pretty similar, but MWU is the most expensive.

I have to pack up a house and move to the new location with pets.

What would you do?
1. Go forward with Midwestern and get all the moving details in place
2. Wait as long as I can to hear if I get into any of the other schools

I would love to hear from any Midwestern student - especially someone whose first choice was MWU.

Thank you!

I think you do both. Right now you’re only accepted to Midwestern, so I’d mentally get in that headspace and start making plans for AZ. But if you’d still choose the others if you were called off their wait lists (and I would definitely recommend choosing the cheapest if possible), it’s reasonable to wait as long as possible before actually pulling the trigger, signing a lease and actually relocating.

I was taken off MWU waitlist last summer and ultimately declined my seat to take a gap year and get into a cheaper school, which I’m so glad I did! The difference in cost racks up with interest.
