I am just getting acquainted with the military through the Army HPSP program and have to say that the sheer volume of acronyms in the military is ridiculous! Is there a handbook that I should have received, because the handbook on MODS does not seem complete (neither does MODS itself, but that is a different story - I mean, how hard is it to hire a web designer and make the website useful and user friendly?). Or do I wait until OTC to get it? I feel like if I wait that long I will be behind the eight ball when it comes to requesting place I would like to be stationed at and whose umbrella they fall under, etc....Due to how my school runs, I won't attend OTC until after I graduate in two more years. Any help would be great!

to many to list, just ask anyone in the military in person or here and you will get your answer for any specific ones.

The only one to remember is ETS (that's the date you can seperate from the military)

Another CYA (covery your *****) while not official, it is the unwritten policy of the military to always make sure you have someone to blame if something goes wrong. You can bet who ever is over you is using this "policy"

That's really all you need to know.:soexcited::soexcited:
