Military veteran question on secondaries?

Hi everyone,

I noticed some secondaries ask about either being related to a military veteran or being the spouse of a veteran. My fiancé is a veteran and my grandfather (whom I never met) used to be one. Is this worth mentioning on my secondaries?

Out of curiosity, why do medical schools ask this question?

You might be able to get away with this as a fiance. Being a granddaughter of a veteran means nothing for the app process.

If you are not married at the time you submit, then your answer is no.
