Hi,

My options are pretty limited because of the location preference. I heard that Mills is quite good, but SFSU is more affordable. I would definitely go for a program/college that gives me more chances to get in.

So, which one should I pick?

Any advice will be appreciated.

These threads should help. Some of them relate to the UCSF program which is also run through SFSU so there is info about the SFSU program on them.

All I know about the programs is second hand from other people so I cannot offer you any specific advice. Here's what I would think about if I were in your situation: what type of environment you do better in, bigger class v. smaller classes. Is the cost a big issue or are you willing to go into debt for Mills? How competitive an applicant do you think you are already? Would your application benefit from having the more well-known Mills name attached to it, or are you pretty strong already (ie top school in undergrad, good grades) and just needing to take the prereqs and get them done? Good luck with your decision :)
