I think I am really unprepared for the upcoming NBD Part I. I feel like I should share how ill-prepared I am so that you can always go, eh, at least I've done more than that guy!

So I will be taking my boards on Wednesday, 8/15. I am a general slacker when it comes to studying, a ridiculous procrastinator, and have pretty much skimmed by my first 2 years.

My original studying schedule entailed reading old notes from class, reviewing certain chapters from textbooks, reading all the dental deck cards, doing the released exams. HA! And here has been my actual studying schedule:

Going to the library, setting up as if to study, and then promptly spending hours setting up fantasy football leagues, perusing the BEST OF section of craigslist, and reading so much football analysis that though I'm only vaguely aware of the fact that the head sits on top of the torso, I can somehow explain all the roles of the weakside linebacker in a cover 2 scheme.

So now my studying for the boards shall consist entirely of doing 4 past exams, reviewing the questions missed, and hoping mightily for repeats!

I shall let you guys know how it goes, either as a Woot! in jubilation or as a HELLOOOO class of 2010 lamentation! Stay tuned. Either way, be happy that you're more prepared than I am!

oh I'm ****ed

I've missed you now that clinic is a done deal. Please do tell how the exam goes. Just don't finish it in 30 min like you do our other exams..haha. Mine is August 23....still have a ton of cards to go through before I finish it once haven't touched any exams etc. I was actually gonna call you for some details...but I guess SDN will suffice.

phremius, you've been an inspiration the last 2 years. When I think about the type of people that PASS boards I am convinced that almost anyone with any sense could pass them.

Just for kicks you should try not to study at all.

Yo man dont sweat. I know a guy that just studied just the front of the dental decks, and figured hell with all that small writing on the back. He passed. Btw, whats a good website for football analysis?

how'd it go phremius? good i hope. if you score in the 90s i'm writing you in on my presidential ballot

It went well actually, I thought there was a good number of repeats, if not questions then at least in scopes of questions. Don't want to offend the karma gods so I'm going to wait till I get those scores, but I didn't think the test was hard, just really long so by question 300 it gets really hard to care

Good to hear. Hopefully mine goes the same. See you in clinic...even though I'm missing the first day back...gotta luv our gpd.
