minimum # of credits to take senior year?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Are you applying this year? If you are and you get in, then nobody but you will care what you take this upcoming year. But if you don't get in and have to reapply, you'll be kicking yourself if it's obvious that all you've been doing since you first applied is partying.

If you are applying next cycle then I think since you've already taken the prereqs you should devote some significant time to some extracurriculars. Maybe just take whatever you need to graduate/want and focus your time on research, medical employment, some volunteer thing that's really meaningful to you, etc.

No one's going to care as long as you are doing something full time. Either 12 units or less than 12 units with something on the side like a P/T job.

As for the types of classes, here's what you say:

I decided that I wanted to broaden my horizons by taking Intro to Video Games, Pornography 101, and Home Economics.

As long as you can say this without laughing, you're fine.

I used my degree planning tool and also scheduled 12 credit hours the last two semesters of senior year. I also only scheduled 14 during the Spring where I'll take the MCAT to give myself extra time to study. Plus, the courses for that semester are really easy.

I never got why they called the weaving and cooking class "home economics".
