I'm currently finishing up my pre med requirements (Completed Chem 1+2 with labs, Bio I w/ lab, Physics I w/lab, and Organic Chem I w/o lab).. and am currently enrolled in Organic chem II, Bio II w/lab, and physics II w/ lab. (I am taking orgo lab over the summer).
I have an undergrad degree in Business, so I have done calc I, multivariate analysis, and methods of optimization (not sure of these two count for calc II). Ive also done a semester of probability and statistics, a semester of argument (our version of freshman writing), a semester of philosophy (would this count for a 2nd semester requirement of english?), as well as various business, information science, history, and language courses.
I've heard that med schools all have different pre reqs.. but since I'm not really sure where I stand competitively.. (right now I just want to make it into any medical school.. lol).. so it seems really hopeless to narrow down on the schools I want to go to see what their pre reqs are..
So my question is will these basic sciences as well as those classes listed above from my undergrad fullfill the requirements for most medical schools?
If not, which classes should I consider taking? Btw.. I want to apply for admission Fall 2005, so I would probably be taking any additional courses concurrently with admissions.. if that is at all possible.
Thanks for any insights.
