I was wondering if it is possible to get in state after a year with umn. I live 4 miles away from the border of mn for the past 18 years, shopped there, worked there...basically done everything there( in wi, like 25 mins from st. Paul). It wouldd be really convenient if I could some how get residency...any one know?

I am interested in this too as I am from MN, and had my permanent residency there for my entire life until 4 years ago. I wonder if they will look upon us more favorably than a typical OOS applicant?

I think its easier to get into the school if your within the region but according to state lines you might be out of luck to in state tuition. I visited the school and honestly I wasn't too impressed with it. I didnt like their clinic and the small amount of patients that they actually get to work with.

From my interview I recall that this isn't possible. Which is really too bad, because the OOS tuition is ridiculous for what they have to offer.

ditto I think its a good school... just not a great school. Most people can do better and would get better exposure elsehwere.
