How much did you guys write for the statement of contribution to the program/diversity? I have a short paragraph. I don't know if I have time to write another 5000 character personal statement for just one school.

it was a 6000 character limit right? i pushed it to the limit. like 5990 something. but this is by faaaarrrrrrr my number 1 school, so I'm not taking chances. go gophers.

I didn't write much. I figure the space is there if you need it, but I think that a short and concise essay would be appreciated. I don't want to bore the reader to death!

I've literally been putting this off for the last month and a half. Essay questions just stump me. I should really start it though, because at this point, I've been putting it off way longer than it's going to take me to actually brainstorm and write it. That 6000 word limit is intimidating though. Like they expect a novel or something. :scared:

Same here. It's reassuring to know that not everyone is writing full 6,000 word essays. I feel alot more motivated to do one or two solid paragraphs.

Haha! I've been doing the same thing. Haven't done the Minnesota one or the Western one because I've been busy working and I don't want to do the essays. Glad I'm not alone. I applied at the beginning of June and have been pushing these two supplementals off. I plan to have them done sometime this week. I will probably only write a paragraph or two for both.
