Minnesota Waitlistees

Just wondering... It appears that Minnesota has had its last interview date, and that about 50 spots are left over as of 2/25 according to their website. I am on the ranked waitlist, and I believe that they were going to have 50-60 people on their ranked waitlist. I was just wondering if anyone from the ranked waitlist has heard anything from Minnesota as it appears that a good number of us are going from waitlisted to accepted (hopefully)

I would give it about another month before getting too excited. Thier last interview was on Feb 22nd. After that, about 3-4 weeks to make decisions on that group, and then 2 weeks for those who are accepted from that group to pay a deposit or reject.

I am on the ranked wait list as well. I was a little surprised to see that 381 people were invited to interview when originally it was 350. It must be because some declined the offer of interview. I am anxious to hear something as well although it may be as late as April.

I just had my interview on 02/22 and they said we wouldn't hear back until at least 03/28! It's going to be the longest month of my life.

I was #55 on the ranked waitlist last year. I was offered a spot in mid-August but declined because I had long since been accepted elsewhere. If you do get on the waitlist, plan for something else but don't give up hope. I surely never expected a phone call (AND I marked Twin Cities only). . .

I was number 27 last year and I didn't hear until the begining of July. I had also marked Twin Cities only. So it may be a while for people on the waitlist. Sorry.

I was put on the ranked waiting list as well. I hope its good news and hopefully soon! Im trying everything to tell people go to other schools so it gives me a better chance 🙂. I just loved Minnesota and how they treated me, so hopefully i can sneak in somehow.

Minnesota is actually not done with interviews. I know of someone who couldnt make the last interview date so they rescheduled for this coming week and there were more people in similar situations.

So i noticed a few individuals that are on the ranked waiting list have already received acceptance to other universities for pharmacy. Are you going to go to the school that accepted you or go to Minnesota if they take you off the wait list?

I think I am going to go with where I am already accepted. That way I know where I am going and can make plans without wondering about Minnesota.
