I realized today that I made a minor mistake on my AMCAS application. In my work/activities section, I used one of the 15 spaces to list all of my paid employment experiences. I accidentally listed the wrong years for one of the 4 jobs I have held, which makes it look like I worked 20hr/week during the school year instead of during my gap year I took before I started Uni.

Is it worth it to try and call AMCAS to get them to repair the damage since I am already verified? Is it even worth it to update the schools I am applying to with this information? Especially if I indicate the correct year on my secondary?

Honestly, there are so many dates and jobs listed in that section, I would be surprised if anyone noticed, but I want to be 100 percent honest in my application

Thanks!

No harm in asking, but I do not think AMCAS fixes these, since one it is confirmed it is all done.

If you are unable to change, just make sure you bring it up at interviews about the minor error if it is brought up.

Too late to fix it. Shouldn't be a big deal though.

You can't fix it. If it's really bothering you, you can always email the school noting the mistake and the correction. I did those for something I had - they are very receptive. Otherwise just bring it up in interviews as someone else said but I do not think they will really care.

I listed both my dad and mom as women by accident. I doubt anyone noticed but I still freaked out when I realized. Everything worked out for me and nobody ever asked about it, hopefully it goes the same way for you.

Indeed, but his name is quite male sounding, so I thought it may cause confusion.
