My university offers a minor called the "Leadership Studies Minor." I'm kind of sketchy on the details, but you study leadership from a philosophical view, as well as having real-world experience.

In regards to the field of dentistry, does anyone think a minor like this can be beneficial? Or would I be better off portraying leadership skills on my own (volunteering, etc.)? I know it's a wierd question to ask, but I would appreciate any feed back.

Look... I just think taking that minor will not have an impact on your admission chances. All you need is to complete the basic requirements, and take advanced science classes, and some shadowing, plus good scores on DAT.

Is that too much to ask?

If I were you, I would think about how I would invest my time and $$$ on route DENTAL SCHOOL.
