Hey guys, I am middle eastern and in most of my financial aid/school forms it is considered a minority. However, AADSAS did not have a middle eastern nationality section so I checked other. In terms of the dat registration, i dont know if i should check minority status or not. Anyone encounter this problem?
Thanks for help/adivice

I've not encountered this problem, but I don't think it's going to hurt checking either of the options you mentioned here. The ADA is simply collecting this data for statistical purpose, like using it to create distribution reports on how one ethnic group performs on the DAT vs the other group, ...

I agree with OneSmile, I think you'll be fine marking off "Other". It's really just for statistics anyways. I'm always confused when it comes to marking my ethnicity, because I am a combination of six different ethnicities, including Middle Eastern, White (non-Hispanic), Hispanic, and Native American. Asking me to choose one is like a joke to me. 🙂 So I join you in marking "Other".
