Does anyone know if Mercer is predominately a minority school? I have heard both yes and no.

The school states that it maintains a population greater than 25% "underrepresented" students... whatever that means... 25% minority student population is considerably higher than most schools, I think.

The student body at the Southern School of Pharmacy is diverse, as over eighty percent of the student body is drawn from outside the Atlanta area. Mercer attracts students from over 25 states and eight foreign countries. Minority representation thrives at Mercer and continues to exceed twenty-five percent

I currently attend Mercer. It is NOT predominately minority. I think that manty people get this misconception because Dean Matthews is African American. I am a 1st year. But, in all the classes, the majority of the students are Caucasian.

you are in the minority at MCP if your last name isnt Patel. haha
