I'm american indian and married a caucasian so I now carry his last name. Does anyone know how admissions screen application for underrepresented. For example if a latin woman married a caucasian so has his last name, do they overlook her status(underrepresented) due to her last name. Just curious? I'm not sure if i'm asking the question clearly...

BTW, welcome to the forum.

why does it matter what your last name is?

Along these lines. AADSAS asks for which best represents you. Say for instance you are 3/4 Caucasian and 1/4 Native American. Which would you mark and why?
