Anyone here applying for MIS fellowships? If so, have you heard from most of the programs yet regarding interviews? I'm still waiting to hear from about 8 of them.

I too am applying. I sent 12 applications and heard back from 8.. They still have a few days I guess but I am waiting anxiously on a few in particular.. Especially since interview days are starting to lock out.

I'm just curious your reasons for doing a MIS fellowship, are you guys interested in Bariatrics, research and technological advances, or just trying to get better laparoscopic skills. I'm afraid of the fellowshipped future and keep trying to figure how to differentiate myself but still be able to do predominantly general surgery.
