I was reading over the Felony and Misdemeanor Disclosure Statement, and it says one needs to disclose this information when applying for my pharmacy intern license. It also states "minor traffic violations under $500" need not be disclosed.

What if the misdemeanor is a traffic violation for under $500? Does minor traffic violation just mean regular speeding tickets or misdemeanors as well?

If it was something you had to go to court for (that means you didn't have the option of paying it off) and you were charged with a violation and you entered a plea, then that's considered something you need to disclose. Misdemeanors (like reckless endangerment) are considered more than just a traffic violation. You would be 'forced' to show up in court for it.

If you aren't sure, put it down anyway. You'll be forced to disclose it to the schools later on and they will check on it I guarantee you.

I would imagine that the $500 applies to civil traffic tickets only (speeding, running a stop sign). The traffic misdemeanors should be disclosed (DUI, hit and run, criminal speeding<-- 25 mph over the limit here 😀). Be sure to check with whatever board/organization you need to though.
