Does anyone know if misdemeanor is required to report by dental schools?
they will ask for it
watd u do?
Judging by his previous posts on the pre-allo forum, he/she was convicted of shoplifting two times.
omgggggggggggggggggggg thats so bad
but its a really good thing that you changed and is trying to start fresh...
i shoplifted befoe but i am too good and never got caught.....(7th grade)......pokemon cards and laser pens from target
i got a charizard in the last pack i ever bought.. ya it was cool.
i "caught" them all but the charizard
its like the babe ruth baseball card of pokemon cards
Hahah, I used to be obsessed with Pokemon. I went with my best friend to buy some cards and when he opened his he got a Charizard. I was bummed out that I didn't have one. Then I opened my pack only to find a Charizard
i just stole a charizard from this kid i knew
screw having to buy packs of card
Pokemon? Are you guys for real? I babysat for some kids that were into Pokemon. Maybe I am getting old, too. I was more of the Garbage Pail Kids generation, which in all honesty was probably worse.
haha, i have SO MANY garbage pail kid cards!
Well it can go both ways, you were either too old to know what pokemon was, or too young....lol... I personally remember them and have no idea what garbage pail kids are...i'm goingg to venture out and say pokemon were coller, pokemon even had their own pogs if i'm not mistaken...lol
getting back the main question of the post...
i heard some kid got in med school with a felony on his record from my prehealth advisor
are there such stories in dental school where someone was convicted of something or academic dishonesty on their record?
even video game clothings tv show notebooks, etc
have you heard of indiana university????
i was talking about PRIOR to getting into dental school
but yes ive heard of IU as well as UMDNJ
as well as the dentist groper
IU, UNLV, & UMDNJ will most likely accept you
I thought they only asked about felonies....am I wrong?
Ohhh yeah pal, UNLV School of Dental Medicine is FILLED with criminals. Must explain why all the dental students there had to wear orange prison suits and had a parole officer following them around. Get real.
P.S. you are wrong. UNLV asks if you have had anything other than a minor traffic violation (i.e. minor speeding ticket, parking violation) on their secondary.
Seriously, it seems common for a college kid to get a MIP or PI. Does that hurt your application that badly? I hear they are more concerned with sex offenders, as we will have patient contact in the near future.
Is a misdemeanor even an arrest? Personally I would consider it to be more similar to a parking ticket and wouldn't disclose it.
Be sure to know the schools policy though otherwise this can come back and bite you. There are schools that upon acceptance do a background check and if they see something you should have reported but didn't... they'll give you the boot
