what is the final volume of a gas at 70K if it is initially at 280K and 10ml?

is this question kinda misleading, when i read it it seemed that the initial volume and temperature is 10ml and 280K but its not.

i.e the answer is not 40ml

can someone please explain why?

thanks!

whats the answer? 2.5?

You're setting up your calculation wrong

the formula that should be used is V1/T1 = V2/T2

remember volume and temperature are not proprtional like volume and pressure etc...... The gas law is pv=nrt thus it is volume over temp
