Missing a LOR -> 3/4 done, 2science/1dentist

I am missing a LOR from my PI, which might take from late August to early September.

But I already have 2 LOR from biology profs and 1 from a general dentist. Will this delay my application?

What about for Columbia? which require you to have 3 science professors. Will they give not give out an interview or put the application on hold? Thank you.

I dont think the letter from your PI counts as science, unless your PI taught you a science class

I'm worrying about the same thing. I know that schools have varying amounts of strictness regarding this, but I don't know which ones will/won't give you an interview if you don't have all the letters in.

well, I'm mostly concerned with NYU, BU and tufts. Like, I meet their minimum letter requirement. But will they process my app even when I have a single extra letter pending? That is what I am wondering about.
