I completed an emergency medicine elective at and Away institution that I really like back in July I have been trying for the past 6 months to have them turn in my grade form to my school.I have tried emailing calling and stopping by it in perso. I have had my school tried to contact their clerkship coordinator I am at a loss now of what to do and my school will not give me a grade until that form has been turned in . I need the form to be turned in in order to have completed enough units to graduate. also complicating the matter is that I do not want to pester this program because I am ranking them. Please help

I had the same problem and just had to keep asking them. But really if the program cannot fill out a simple form for you to get credit for a rotation and graduate is it really a program you are going to be ranking highly anyhow? Keep on it. Sometimes you just have to be persistent unfortunately.
Ahhh I totally sympathize! I emailed someone 2x already to ask for my grade to be submitted. Hmmm waiting til after match day might not be a bad idea but I am not inclined to wait so long. Fine line if it's a program u are considering.

I'm not sure what, if anything, you lose by waiting until after Match Day.
If you Match there you call the program and say "hey...super excited to be coming to your program but if you don't send the grade from my rotation to my school like, yesterday, then I'm not going to graduate and then we're both going to be screwed."
If you don't match there you can bug them 6 times a day without fear of retribution.

Has your home EM dept. Contacted them? I cant see this not working itself out, although I can see how this would be anxiety provoking.
