Missing Pre-Req

I have 8 quarter units of English (5.4 semester units) instead of the required 6 semester units. I plan on taking it at a CC during the summer but would like to submit my app before then.

But from reading the forums here, I can't list them as "in progress/planned" unless I have proof on an official transcript (which I don't since it's a new university).

What should I do?

Apply. You can take it later before matriculation.

Can I actually apply without all the pre-reqs? Will I be at an disadvantage? Or is it better to wait till I finish this pre-req in august and submit it then?

Can I get the opinion of @Goro and @LizzyM

I don't think it is ok to apply without any of them done. What would be one's Science GPA based upon if one haven't taken any prereqs. Also, it is not possible to take all prerequisites in 2 semesters after being accepted and matriculation.


2 semesters of General Bio
2 semesters of General Chemistry with lab
2 Semesters of English
2 Semesters of Physics with lab
2 semesters of Organic Chemistry with Lab
1 semester of Biochemistry


You can apply and be accepted if only several prerequisites have not been met.

Oops, I worded that poorly, sorry. I meant to say without ALL of them done, which is 1.6 semester units of English in my case.
