So I have 2 SLORs in ERAS, and 2 that are still not in (from July and August rotations). Should I start bugging my writers (or more likely their assistants) about it now, or wait a bit?)

Thanks!

My impression is that two SLORs should be enough, but maybe there are some programs that want three? 😕

I only have SLORs-- no regular LORs-- so I think I need 3+? And I don't know if programs I interview with can see I'm still waiting on some and question why my SLOR writers didn't bother to actually do it...

I'd politely send them an email thanking them for agreeing to write a SLOR for you.

If they are writing SLORS, they should already know that programs are all looking at them now, and they are kinda responding late.

Kind of an unobtrusive reminder to get it done.

I would definitely email your letter writers ASAP seeing as the Nov. 1st deadline is just around the corner. And although some programs send out invites even if your application is not complete, others might wait until your app is complete before offering you an invite. So it would suck to miss out on some opportunities due to missing one letter.

And I don't think programs can see that you're waiting for letters. I think that they only can see/get/download what's been uploaded to ERAS.
