How many of you applied with a couple "pre-med" courses left to take, and still received an interview or acceptance? I ask because I'll have completed all of the required lecture stuff by the time of application, but I will still have yet to take both orgo labs and a physics lab.

According to one school I applied to I was missing orgo and they gave me an interview. I wasn't actually missing the orgo but I didn't go to the interview so I dont' know what would have happened in the end.

You're going to take the MCAT without taking organic or physics??? am i missing something here??

I'll be applying before i take the upper div. psych class that my state medical school requires, but i don't see how i could take the mcats w/o organic and physics.

edit: oops, labs. okay... labs in those two are pretty lame anyway. sorry!

I got interviews despite missing some classes....

3 credits of genetics from UHS
3 credits of behaviorial science from COMP
3 credits of (due to a mix-up) physics & chemistry from AZCOM.

So you should be okay, but you should have listed these courses as classes you intended to take....or clear it up with the individual schools so they know how you plan on taking care of the issue. Until you clear up how you plan on taking care of the requirement some schools will not consider your application complete.
