Missouri Interviews

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I had the other thread closed for this very reason. Do kindly grow up, both of you.

Hmm, well it took them 2-3 weeks to let the OOS'ers know, so I would GUESS about the same. But that was a total guess...good luck though if you're waiting!

After my interview, Kathy said they would try to send out the letters around the 19th or 20th. Soooo, who knows. Hopefully we'll know something late this week or early next week.

Anybody else get an email about orientation and the team building stuff? I haven't sent in a deposit or decided where I am going yet.

I also got that and haven't sent in my deposit yet. I guess they just sent it to all the accepted students.

PS- thanks for the German Harry Potter advice, gilch 😎

I got my in state acceptance yesterday (3/23) it was dated 3/20.

Wow the OOS spot holder is expensive! I only paid $100 for my spot as an ISS.

Anyone know how much it costs to get the rabies series through Mizzou? My insurance won't cover it unless I get bit by a dog....might be worth it if I save $600-900!

Mizzou pays half the cost of each shot, so, while it's still expensive, it's a lot better than dropping $900. Total cost for each was close to $120 for us, I believe.

Edit: And congrats! 🙂

Wow that's much better! I'm definitely going to wait until this fall then. I was quoted between $250 and $350/shot from various places :scared:. Thanks for the tip and the congrats!

Hey everyone, a second year friend of mine who will soon be a third year wanted to let the incoming first years know she is looking for a responsible, easy going, drama free female roommate starting late July, early August (maybe earlier). Rent is $342 a month per person plus split utilities with at total of 2 people in a 3 bedroom duplex about 5-10 minutes from the vet school. Pets may be negotiable (she has a dog, rats, and a chinchilla). You can PM me for details.

PM'd you!

I am still deciding so I have yet another set of questions. Are the research opportunities students have confined to the summer, mostly? What do they do with students who don't do the terminal surgeries?

If you or other Missouri students on here don't know the answers, can you PM the email address of someone who does?

Thanks!!
