Missouri to Michigan

UMKC was my first choice and when I go excepted, I withdrew from UMICH, but I want to go back there when I am done (that is where I am from). I am wondering what it is going to take for me to be able to practice in Michigan afterward. Will it be any different if I also continue to specialize in Ortho at UMKC; will this require even more work? I figure it probably will, but I don't know any of the details.

I'd be interested in this answer too...I've got a similar situation. I'm leaving michigan for school, but may want to come back to practice. Would this be a lot more difficult than just staying wherever I do my residency?
