So, fortunately i got accepted to dental school, but last weekend unfortunately i got a public urination ticket. Pretty stupid how it happened. It was 100 bucks, i did NOT have to go to court and i paid it.

Will this cause any problems with my school.

Should i tell them? Im not trying to hide anything, but is it their business to know? If i do tell them they wont revoke my acceptance right? (if they did then thats piss poor, pun intended)

Should i call and talk to them just so its not a surprise or since after i got accepted should i just let it go?

I wouldn't worry about it, handle your legal business. If you're asked about it DONT LIE, but I don't think you need to disclose it unless you're asked for something of this magnitude. I don't think it will have any influence on your ability to become licensed.

1) Don't tell your school
2) Stop peeing in public
3) It is 'misdemeanor', not mistermeanor

some schools require a background check prior to matriculating. i've talked to a dean of a dental school about this and they would most likely laugh at the "public urination" charges rather than take it seriously. any other crime, however, might not be taken as lightly. i'm serious about the laughing of the public urination part. it was a specific question of one of my friends asked. just don't get anymore of them.
