Mixed ANOVA line graph in Excel

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I wasn't even aware you could draw those in excel. I thought you had to draw them by hand or in a painting program. That is how I learned to do them. Then again, we also don't use excel at my school and I don't think SPSS usually spits out graphs.

Just type in the 4 means in a 2 cell by 2 cell space in Excel, then highlight these data and do the create graph function (I'm using Office 2007 now, so I don't remember what it is called exactly in Office 2003, it might like Insert>Chart; do a line graph). I just did it and it drew a nice disordinal interaction graph for me. You'll have to do some work to make sure that the axes are correct and the chart is labeled properly, but that's the gist of what I believe you're trying to do.

Using SPSS is much easier than Excel in my opinion. It gives you the option to create a graph at the same time you run your ANOVA. Let me know if you need more specific instructions. Hope this helps!
