So for you guys out there that have completed/working towards completing the MOC process, what were some of the types of projects you worked/are working on? I'm particularly interested in hearing from the non-academics who are in a private solo/group practice. Has anybody here tried the "Design your own QI project" option with success?

A number of my friends have done some sort of hand washing eval. They kept it pretty simple and just documented hand washing improvement after addressing it with the staff. This whole requirement is ridiculous and further illustrates how out of touch the ABP is with the reality of actual practice.

The hand-washing and the breast feeding ones are pretty straight forward and common. There is a lot of commotion these days about MOC part 4. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in pediatrics.
