Will be taking this soon and was wondering if anyone in here can give us an idea on what to expect. Seems like the pass rate is a bit higher than with the initial exam, but does this necessarily mean it is easier and more relevant for those in practice?

When I took the initial one 10 years ago it was paper based and given over 2 days; what was it like taking it in a Sylvan Prometric Center?

I haven't taken it yet but will be due in 2018. I've taken pediatric cardiology boards on Prometric in 2012, and it's like taking the Steps on the computer.

I liked the experience better than having to travel to one of 8 sites and being in a hotel ballroom full of very nervous people like myself.
