How do I set up mock interviews for med school, if i'm not in college?
Oh and I want knowledgeable feedback from people who know how med school interviews run. That's why I want a professional mock interview rather than family or friends interviewing me.😉

You wait till your in college, have some clinical experience in shadowing/research/ medical related job so that when you acutally do a mock interview you will know how to reply to the questions that will be asked. Most colleges in the college of sciences have advisors that help conduct mock interviews, but only to students who are applying that application cycle. I think that you may be getting way ahead of yourself if your not even in college yet.

I may be wrong, but my non-trad brain interpreted the OP to mean he/she graduated college already. If so, then many career centers still offer services like mock interviews to alumni (although there may be a fee involved).

You can also contact any nearby medical schools to see if they have any mock interviewing experiences available.

if you have already finished college then contact the school you graduated from and see if they offer that service for alumni- my undergrad had an office for career advising that was open to alumni too.

Wow thank you all for the responses! I was actually talking about BS/(MD DO) programs which is why I don't think I can access alumni privileges lol
I've just been calling colleges and banks to see if they offer mock interviews, but I will try contacting med schools, and some pre-med societies as well. Thank you all (sincerely) for the help!😀

Your initial post is somewhat confusing. A lot of people conducting interviews for high school students, even for BS/MD are different from those conducting interviews for college pre-medical students.

I conduct a lot of interviews for my university, including for their eight year BS/MD program. My best advice is to use resources at your high school and family friends.

Also, it is very important to show a long-term commitment to medicine. My biggest pet peeve is when I interview a student and he or she tells me that they have always wanted to be a doctor, but has no demonstrated interest in medicine. In other words, they have not volunteered at a hospital, seen a doctor at work or done any form of work in a clinical setting. This leads to a very quick strike-out and automatic rejection.
