Hello!
I am currently working on my thesis and my data seems to fit a moderated mediation model but I'm up against some of the MODMED limitations. For instance, I have multiple (3) independent variables and the macro requires only one. Also, the dependent variable cannot be dichotomous or categorical. I can probably get around the IV issue but my dependent variable is dichotomous. It's a prospective study and we're looking into what factors contribute to the IV happening so it's either "yes it happened" or "no it did not happen".
Does anyone know if it's possible to run these analyses using a moderated mediation model? Do you know of any other moderated mediation macros besides MODMED? We're trying to stay away from more complicated path analyses like SEM because my mentor and I have very limited experience with these models.
Thanks!
Edit: I've also posted this in the TalkStats forum. Please let me know if you know of any other helpful stats discussion forums!
