Mods: What is the limit of images allowed?

I sometimes get the message that I have too many images in my posts. However i see other posts with many more than I have included. Do the images in a quote count toward the quota? Once you post a message with images and then edit and add more images it sometikes allows it. The operative word there is sometimes.


I realize this isn't important (and everyone has much more important issues) but i was just trying to figure it out. Thanks!

Anyways....

I figured this might be a good place to add a silly and unimportant question I've had for a long time. I can't figure out how to make an avatar. I tried once, and I kept getting an error message. I think my picture may have been too big.... but I couldn't crop it any smaller. Any ideas?

Hey, I PMed you about the avatar but i don't know much either. The resolution may cause it to be too big also.

And my PM box is always full because i'm too lazy to ever delete anything and i'm always wondering if i would have wanted it if i delete it. Every time someone asks me to, i do delete a couple messages though. I need to do something about that. **sigh** I'll give you my e-mail address and you can e-mail me.

Non-donors are limited to an image that is 75x75 pixels and <30kb. Donating 7.50 to SDN gets you a 250 count PM box and an avatar size =150x100.

PD, I think that the limit is ~ten images, but I'll ask the man.
