Hi, which molecular genetics techniques do we need to have a general understanding of? I've got:

-Transformation
-Electrophoresis
-PCR (what kinds of PCR do we need to know?)
-Western Blotting
-Southern Blotting

...what else?

Kaplan has some extra molecular biology and molecular genetics techniques, including Sanger sequencing/ddNTPs for example.

They are not in the BS Review Notes but in the Workshop on Molecular Genetics (somewhere in "Bio 3")

Yeah, I was doing that topical test today, which kind of spurred this thread. I was just like, "wow I don't remember ever reading this."

Yeah I kind of wish all the concepts/terms discussed in Workshops NOT covered in the Review Notes were actually IN the review notes books.

(Unless things in the workshops not covered in the books are extremely low-yield, but I don't think that's always the case)
