woohoo!! It is very exciting to meet your class. I also didn't make it to the picnic....I wanted to..but watching reruns of Family Guy seemed like a better idea to me at the time. If I remembered correctly, first day, you meet in a big dining hall to eat breakfast. You'll be seated with some faculty...one per table and then a few of your classmates. Then followed by some picture taking like biogirl mentioned. Order clinic coats (think about what name you want on it...like, if your name is John Smith, you can have J Smith on it instead of the whole thing....etc Most people order at least 3), order lab coats (I was able to get through last year (and going to this year) with one coat...if you're messy, you may consider ordering more or if you have your old lab coat from chem lab or something-that'd work), lab manuals, books, etc. Second day wont' be bad...it's only half a day and continue for a campus tour if you choose.
