Sorry for not posting earlier but to answer the previous thread at the top, my current G.P.A from Oklahoma State University is a 3.97 with a BS in Aviation Sciences. I have the opportunity to attend UNC in Northern Colorado where a course load of 16 hours with in-state tuition and the undergrad Colorado tuition grant brings tuition + fees to around $2400 a semester. I have a house to stay in for at least the first 2 semesters for free (parents moved out of state and we still have the house). I have little E.C's in regards to medical volunteering or research but I do have many honors and leadership positions in organizations. I was an airline pilot for the past year so I guess what some people were saying it makes an interesting story. I feel very fortunate with getting out of flight training and my first 4 year degree with only around $11,000 currently in student loans (I would try to continue paying these loans until medical school instead of deferring to save the accrued interest). So thats my financial situation.
When it comes to completing my pre-reqs I would have all of them to complete except my English. I took AP Physics (calculus bases), AP Statistics, and AP Calculus during high school so I would just have to redo those courses as I have heard medical schools do not accept them. I am not boasting but I can say I have good study habits and I would hopefully see myself applying in 2 years as I fear gaining enough EC's would be my only pitfall. Thanks for the posts!!
