Money tight, How many schools?

I am tight on money, and definitely want to get into dental school somewhere, so I was wondering what everyone thinks the minimum amount of schools to apply to should be for someone with my stats.

California Resident

oGPA: 3.45
sGPA 3.25

AA:22
TS:23
PA:19

I am applying to 5 schools in California (not loma linda), and was wondering how many out of state friendlies I should choose from. I have already made a list of which out of states I would be willing to attend, but I'm having a hard time deciding how many I should really include because of monetary issues. I know it can get really expensive, but at the same time don't want to risk not getting in anywhere. Thanks for the help!

I wouldn't do less than 12 schools. Im pretty certain 8 schools would do the trick too BUT.... you do want assurance right? 12 is assuring

Use the search function to find the ADEA file that doc posts with numbers of OOS students accepted. I would assume Tufts and NYU are in your range.

I'd personally go with 10. Some to consider: Tufts, NYU, BU, Nova, Nevada schools, and Arizona schools. Possibly Michigan.
